Short Curriculum Vitae: Sotiris Batsakis studied computer engineering   and informatics at the Computer Engineering and Informatics Department, School of Engineering, University of Patras, then obtained an MSc and a PhD from the ECE School of the Technical University of Crete. Since 2002 he has a professional experience in the public and private sector and since 2017 he works in the Decision Support Systems Laboratory,   School of Production Engineering and Management, Technical University of Crete.

Education: Diploma in Engineering from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, School of Engineering, University of Patras (2000). MSc (2008) and PhD (2012) from the ECE School, Technical University of Crete

Research Interests: Knowledge Representation, Internet Information Retrieval
